EXL provides consulting and analytics support to fortune 500 companies across multiple industry domains. For this role, you will be helping out a client of Sports & Media domain with data analytics and assist them in taking key business decisions through data-led facts and insights.
As an offshore Analytics Project Manager, specializing in General & Marketing Analytics, your role will be pivotal in harnessing the power of data analytics to inform and optimize marketing strategies across various channels. Based in India, you'll play a crucial role in understanding audience behaviors, refining campaign approaches, and enhancing the client's brand presence. You will also be responsible for the end-to-end Analytics deliverables. We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Core & Marketing analytics
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand their business objectives and challenges within the Sports & Media sectors.
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics solutions.
- Understand key business problem statements, design the analytical solution to address the gap and execute
- Utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights from data and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data visualization experts
- Come up with out of the box solutions and identify value adding opportunities with respect to deliveries
- Create compelling visualizations, storyboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes and methodologies.
- Develop and execute advanced audience segmentation strategies utilizing demographic, psychographic, and behavioral insights.
- Leverage data analytics to optimize audience targeting and personalize marketing messages effectively.
- Design and implement AB testing frameworks to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, messaging, and creative assets. Analyze the results
- Define relevant KPIs and establish robust measurement frameworks to track the impact of marketing efforts
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science Engg. or related fieldfrom a top tier university/college
- 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in the sports, entertainment, or retail industry.
- 4+ Hands-on experience in core analytics
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques & experimental design, with the ability to apply them to marketing challenges.
- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media analytics tools.
- Intermediate expertise in Machine Learning concepts and applications.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Self-started and willingness to take on challenging initiatives.
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Proficient in storyboarding, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics).
- Industry experience in Sports or Media.
- Advanced statistical analysis and modeling skills
- Working experience in Marketing front end tools -AEP or CJA
