.Monthly MIS review

.Capacity planning and augmentation, Ensure complete life cycle of DC assets

.Resource management and alignment, Audit and Risk compliance

.Oversee 2nd and 3rd level Infrastructure operations support for the department on a 24x7 basis, with on-call support during off-hours for initial response to disruptions, outages and incidents

.Implement ITSM and ITSM procedures with a focus on Incident Management, RCA/Problem Management, Change Management, Event Management, SLAs, production support, standards, and best practices for the technology organization

.Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management

.Own the project lifecycle and be responsible for managing technical and operational risks and issues for smaller projects that are not led by the Project Management Organization (PMO)

.Work with peer Infrastructure and other IT Department Managers to provide input into the departmental vision and strategic road map for Data Center technical platforms

.Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the senior management, decision-makers, stakeholders, department managers, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities

.Provide organizational and cultural change leadership and change management

.Monitor and report on data center energy consumption and utilization

.Preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions for identified issues

.Emergency response procedures in case of power outages, equipment failures, or other disruptions

.Budgetary allocation and resource management for the data center facilities.

.Maintain compliance of all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including its documentation of all procedures and systems

.Lead and manage various Data center audit within different domain

.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data center operations smooth integration of data center operations with other critical functions and on maintenance and upgrade of equipment and systems.

.Responsible for closing Data center procurement and AMC

.Planning and Execution of JFM activities.

.Oversee the administration of business-critical cloud-delivered systems and services.

.Ensure that comprehensive service and support procedures are implemented and well understood, and that service level objectives are met or exceeded as applicable.

.Responsible for cloud platforms operations support related issues on a day-to-day basis, and long-term planning for maintaining technologically current, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

.Ensure that requests and incidents are accurately documented, escalated, and resolved.

.Responsible for continuously generating and analyzing metrics to ensure that performance levels are satisfactory, and trends are identified and proactively addressed as necessary.

.Develop, implement, and manage governance models that enable business units to leverage cloud technology offerings securely and effectively.

.Assist and advise in the areas of physical planning, security, backup and recovery, and the logistics of contingency planning.

.Develop processes to manage allocation, reporting, and containment of costs for cloud platforms.

.Coordinate efforts in troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades and Sev1/Sev2 issues to ensure timely resolution of issues and provide status updates

.Update and maintain accurate Cloud support documentation as required and ensure the same from the 24x7 support team

Experience

10-12+ years of overall experience developing Data Centre Operations and Support Functions.

4-5+ years of experience with MS Azure and DC Migration

Preferably in life insurance / financial services sector.
