Responsible for managing all aspects of vendor contracting, developing, and maintaining contract templates, and providing legal advisory services. This role requires a law degree and 10-15 years of experience in contract management and legal advisory, with a strong focus on vendor contracting
Vendor Contracting:
- Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and execution of vendor contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and renewals.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Contract Templates:
- Develop, update, and maintain standard contract templates for various types of agreements.
- Ensure contract templates are compliant with current laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on the use of contract templates.
Legal Advisory:
- Provide expert legal advice on contractual matters, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal risks are identified and managed effectively.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to provide accurate and timely legal advice.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
Skills:
- 10-15 years of experience in contract management, vendor contracting, and legal advisory.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing vendor contracts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
Preferred Qualification:
- Law degree from a reputed institution in India
- Knowledge of US healthcare laws, an added advantage
