Position Overview:
This position is an integral part of the accounting and finance operations team, specifically within the Procure to Pay process, as well as cross-functional programs, business launches, and financial reporting (controllership). The successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to handle ambiguity.
Collaboration is key in this role, as the candidate will work with cross-functional teams to drive success in complex tasks, ensuring smooth operations as the business grows. A strong technical accounting background, combined with hands-on experience in claims and BFD processes, is essential to effectively analyze the organization's business needs and develop innovative solutions to improve financial performance and reporting. While experience in banking and treasury is desirable, it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Review and drive the operational excellence in the procure-to-pay process;
Ensuring proper internal controls and documentation (SOPs/checklist) for assigned processes including
but not limited to vendor payments, vendor disputes, vendor reconciliation, claims management and
vendor returns
Manage and supervise return to vendors billing to ensure operational excellence.
Manage and supervise claims billing, collection to timely billing, and collection to optimize working
capital
Provide support for internal and statutory audits and monthly financial reviews with business
partners,
Review and drive action on balance sheet schedules related to accounts payable/receivables.
Developing strong partnerships with Category, Finance Partners, Tech teams, and Supply Chain/Ops;
Ensure that cost efficiency and a cost-conscious culture is a key focus for the organization
Manage controls in the area of procure to pay and ensure accuracy in recording invoices, payments,
vendor receipts, claims/disputes, etc;
Supervise the accounting for business transactions,
Ensure adherence to the company's accounting policy and guidelines
