As the Senior Manager, Brand Activations - India , you will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing, APAC, and lead efforts to amplify Crunchyroll s brand presence across India. This role is pivotal in reinforcing Crunchyroll s position as the premier anime platform for fans and partners in the region.
Based in Mumbai, you will spearhead the strategy and execution of high-impact brand initiatives, with a focus on driving visibility, engagement, and growth.
First 30 Days:
- Deep dive into the role to understand key responsibilities, meet with stakeholders, and assess current strategies.
- Evaluate the scope of work and craft a strategic roadmap for success.
Next 60 Days:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end planning and execution of our Comic Con partnerships, managing Crunchyroll s participation in five major events from November to April.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize impact and engagement.
- Align and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
By 90 Days:
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive brand activation strategy for India, encompassing fan events, screenings, and other key touchpoints.
- Manage and optimize partner campaigns, reporting on performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for continual improvement.
Core Responsibilities - Strategic Leadership: Develop and own Crunchyroll s brand activation strategy in India, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and market positioning.
- Event Management: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of all major events, including conventions and fan screenings, ensuring each event drives brand engagement and loyalty.
- Creative Direction: Conceptualize event themes and activations that resonate deeply with our target audience and reflect Crunchyroll s brand ethos.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align on strategies and ensure seamless implementation of all initiatives.
- Vendor and Budget Management: Oversee vendor relationships, manage event budgets, and ensure that all logistical elements contribute to flawless execution.
- Performance Analysis: Establish KPIs, measure event success, and deliver actionable insights to optimize future activations.
- Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong partner relationships, collaborating to produce compelling content and marketing collateral that enhances brand presence.
- Marketing Operations: Manage the marketing calendar, coordinating timelines and deliverables to ensure synchronized execution across the marketing team.
- Theatrical - Planning and executing marketing promotions for theatrical launches of Anime movies in India.
About You - Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in brand activation, event management, partnership marketing, or marketing operations, with a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with media organizations and/or streaming services in India. A strong understanding of the anime industry and its fan culture is a significant advantage.
- Leadership and Strategy: Demonstrated ability to craft and execute strategies that drive measurable results. Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
