The BI Development and Operations team is set up as an Enabling Function to provide digital expertise and provide report development and support to business towers like Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Close & Control, Global Reporting Centre of Excellence. We are partnering with One Finance and GPOs to identify right digital technology to deliver end to end automation and resolve business problems.
We bring together a team of experienced PBI developers, data analysts and technical experts in order to deliver engaging, efficient & insightful reporting and analysis solutions based on the rich and diverse data set available through GSK's global deployment.
We are looking to recruit a BI Project Manager role to support the BI Development team in delivering enterprise-wide Power BI reports. This role plays a crucial role in facilitating and managing various aspects of a Power BI project.
How you will contribute to our success:
Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Allocate resources efficiently based on project requirements.
Ensure that team members have the necessary tools and support.
Facilitate communication between different project stakeholders.
Update management/stakeholders on project progress, issues, and risks
Oversee quality assurance processes for reports and dashboards.
Ensure that the delivered solutions meet the defined standards.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Track expenses and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Collaborate with IT teams for system compatibility ensuring seamless integration of solutions with other systems.
Maintain project documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and technical documentation.
Handle changes in project scope and requirements.
Assess the impact of changes on timelines and resources.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Produce success stories and case studies highlighting the achievements and impact of completed Power BI projects showcasing the value added to the organization through Power BI implementations.
Years of experience: - 9 - 12 yrs.
Why You
Ideally, we are looking for a Project Manager with the below:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience managing software development projects, preferably in the field of business intelligence and data analytics.
Project management certification: Project Management Professional, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Power BI, its components, dependencies, PBI landscape
Proficient presentation skills and have a proven ability to present project status updates in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
Ability to guide technical discussions and provide strategic direction.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, and track progress against timelines.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution in a fast-paced environment.
PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple deliverables across
Track record of building stakeholder relationships in a global, cross-functional context.
Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities
