Senior-Level SAP Security Analyst

This technical position sits inside the Global SAP Center of Excellence is responsible for managing the security of our Global SAP Architecture consisting of a number of Key Systems including a Cloud based S4Hana system, on premise SAP systems (HCM and ERP) and a cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors system. This position will also work with other IT Staff to ensure successful application of SAP security standards. Application Security professionals develop and deliver solutions - including design and implementation of Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Security Workflow, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics and Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance(GRC) Solutions. A professional at this position level within Belden has the following responsibilities: Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to solve moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems when needed. Primary upward interaction is with the direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels. Determines methods and procedures on new projects with little-to-no guidance. The successful candidate will work closely with SAP Basis, technical analysts and functional consultants to understand the business requirements and deliver solutions that support the ongoing Global IT and business strategy.

• Defines, creates, reviews, updates, and maintains standard-operational-procedure documentation relating to SAP application security and processes
• Experience in applying OSS notes
• Collaborates with the business departments in analyzing and defining requirements
• Performs daily monitoring of SAP security to identify signs of potential problems
• Keeps well-informed of the latest SAP technologies, system releases to determine compatibility and enhancements. Researches and implements new security capabilities as required

• Leads process improvement in the SAP Security area
• Contributes to a strong business relationship through interactions with business personnel
• Expertly configures security in SAP S4Hana, ECC ERP, HCM, SuccessFactors to meet security requirements
• Conducts security and vulnerability assessments, including reporting and support for User Annual Review (UAR) and SOX Audit
• Knowledge of and experience with GRC tools such as the one from Symmetry for security workflow management on SAP systems
• Assumes responsibility for complex project engagements
• Contribute to engagement planning and verify that deliverables meet plan objectives
• Deliver services that meet and exceed Belden IT Service Level Agreements (SLA), specifically resolution of IT tickets and GRC requests
• Strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls, distributed systems administration, and distributed system recovery
• Demonstrate extensive experience by independently completing complex security related tasks making significant contributions in assuring deliverables meet objectives and owning tasks of great complexity.
• Ability to provide input and create written deliverables and to participate in presentations
• Experience with Pages and Spaces for security in S4HANA
• Experience with Fiori security models and processes

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical related field
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP S4Hana and ECC Security experience

• Significant knowledge of SAP security trends and industry best practices
• Preferably one-year minimum experience with GRC solutions
• Customer service mindset - seeking constantly to understand from the customer's point of view, the problems being faced and the solutions that may work best

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English required

• Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing SAP functional solutions
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting SAP business processes on ECC 6.0 & at least 2 years experience with S4Hana
• At least 3 years in a leadership / management capacity
• Familiarity with SAP technologies - ABAP, BADI, IDOC, RFC, ALE, BAPI, and SAP Add-on's is a plus

• Experience implementing, designing, and enforcing project management methodology and controls
