Roles and Responsibilities:
Reviewing commercial agreements like vendor agreements, HR, logistics service agreements, commercial contracts non-disclosure agreements, MSA, LoI, leave and license agreements, consultancy agreements, AMCs, payment gateway agreement,
technology agreements, etc.
Handling the technology based CLM and e-signature tools.
To have a good grasp of commercial contracting laws, IT and tech laws as well as be focused on improving contract processes of the legal department.
Must have experience in conducting due diligence, drafting SHA, SPA and DOAs.
Provide mentoring, guidance, support and training to the legal team.
Have had exposure in dealing with international contracts and laws pertaining to UAE, Bangladesh, Singapore, etc.
Assisting in preparation of policies, processes, and standard operating procedures including assisting in strategic arrangements for India and for international entities.
Drafting legal notices and reply, complaints, suits, plaints, written statements, etc. and have expert knowledge and strong exposure to litigation and court procedures.
Assisting the legal and business team with the latest development in laws and assisting with advisories from time to time.
Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations & legal articles.
Must have knowledge on IPR, Property, Corporate and contemporary laws.
Advising and supporting business models.
Skills
A Law degree from reputed law school completing B.A.LL. B (Law Graduate) / LL.M.
(master's in law) having post qualification-experience in a law firm/as an in-house
counsel.
8 to 10 years of experience in Contract Management, Litigation, General Corporate and
Legal and Business Correspondences in reputed law firms / MNCs.
Good understanding of laws, various types of contracts & key clauses.
Advanced knowledge of contract lifecycle management.
Experience in general corporate, litigation and end-to-end contract negotiation.
Resource must be punctual, transparent, responsible, and able to take end-to-end
accountability for any legal matters.
Strong communication and drafting skills in English.
Exposure to tools for legal research, contract management, etc.
Ability to independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as may be
necessary.
Skills to keep track of legal expenses and promptly notify top management.
Ability to work as an individual contributor and ability to deliver under deadlines.
Ability to provide timely support as a team member on a wide array of subjects to internal stakeholders.
Has experience in handling a team.
Expertise in maintaining and periodically updating MIS trackers.
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
Having Legal knowledge, Analytical Skills, Decision making, Team Player.
Willingness to identify and take up new tasks and be a team player.
