Senior Lead Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Systems with over 10 years of relevant experience who can lead team in maintaining a robust, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure in managing and optimizing Microsoft Windows hybrid infrastructures and Office 365 environments.

This role requires -

Advanced knowledge of office 365 cloud and on-premises Microsoft infrastructure, security best practices.

Strong experience in managing and administering Windows Servers, HyperV, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Should have project leadership experience, with a track record of design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT solutions that align with organizational goals and should have successfully managed complex IT projects

The position requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Windows hybrid infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure high availability and resilience.

Follow process and procedures for system security, backups, and disaster recovery.

Office 365 Administration:

Oversee the configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Office 365 suite.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and service settings in Office 365.

Implement security measures, including multi-factor authentication and data loss prevention.

Project Leadership:

Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, from planning through execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business requirements and IT solutions.

Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering professional development and ensuring best practices in system management.

Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and set developmental goals for team members.

Technical Expertise & Support:

Serve as the primary technical expert for Microsoft Windows and Office 365 solutions, providing tier-3 support as needed to resolve complex issues swiftly.

Provide technical guidance during incident response and troubleshoot complex issues and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements that drive operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning:

Contribute to the IT strategic planning process by identifying technology trends and assessing their potential impact on the business.

Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Implement security best practices and compliance measures across all systems to protect sensitive data.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Microsoft Certification on Office 365, Enterprise Administration or similar, is highly desirable.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with significant experience in Microsoft Windows server environments and Office 365.
