How To Contribute To Our Vision

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Lead - Java/MongoDB Developer to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications with MongoDB database integration. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance, overseeing project implementations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of Java development, and expertise in MongoDB database management.

Other Responsibilities Include

  1. Supervise a group of programmers as they design, create, and manage Java apps that are connected with MongoDB databases.
  2. Assist team members in their growth and development by offering them technical advice and coaching.
  3. Work together with stakeholders to comprehend project needs and convert them into technical details and implementation schedules.
  4. Using Java and MongoDB, create scalable and dependable solutions while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  5. To guarantee code quality, maintainability, and scalability, conduct code reviews.
  6. Diagnose and debug complicated problems in production settings and offer prompt fixes.
  7. Enhance the scalability and performance of MongoDB databases for high-volume, high-availability applications.
  8. To guarantee the effective completion of projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams made up of QA engineers, product managers, and system administrators.
  9. Stay updated on the most recent advancements in MongoDB database administration and Java programming tools, technologies, and best practices.
  10. Drive efforts for continuous improvement to improve methods, tools, and procedures used in development.

Desired Qualification and Experience

  1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline. A master's degree is encouraged.
  2. 7 years of Java development experience is a minimum, 2 of which must have been spent in a technical leadership capacity.
  3. Extensive knowledge of MongoDB database administration, including query optimization, schema design, and performance tweaking.
  4. Strong command of the Java programming language and its related frameworks, such as Hibernate and Spring.
  5. Strong knowledge of API design ideas and RESTful web services.
  6. Familiarity with Agile development techniques and technologies, including Confluence and JIRA.
  7. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
  8. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage development teams and complete challenging projects on schedule and within budget.
  9. Capacity to multitask, set priorities, and adjust to shifting demands in a hectic setting.
  10. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. MongoDB certification (e.g., MongoDB Certified Developer, MongoDB Certified DBA).
  3. Experience with other NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  4. Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., MongoDB Atlas, AWS DocumentDB).
  5. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for database deployment and automation.

  8. In database development, attention to detail is critical to ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
  9. Strong decision-making skills are essential for evaluating options, weighing trade-offs, and making informed decisions that align with project goals.
