Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead and support across the entire software lifecycle, from development and testing to operational support, adapting to different roles as needed.
- Product/Service Accountability: Take full responsibility for a product or service, developing the best technology solutions to meet customer needs and enhance their journey.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to steer the direction of the product or service.
- Automation and Quality: Establish a digital environment and automate processes to ensure consistent, high-quality code and data delivery.
- Testing: Develop technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
- DevOps Support: Assist DevOps teams at all stages of product or service release/change, focusing on customer needs and end-to-end journeys.
- Operational Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Ops, Dev, and Test Engineers to identify and address operational issues (performance, intervention, alerting, design defects) at all product stages.
- Incident Management: Support the identification and resolution of incidents related to IT services, following the leadership of the DevOps team.
- Service Resilience: Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all delivered software solutions.
- CI/CD Automation: Automate the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on current tools, technologies, and regulations, including cyber security, data privacy, consent, and data residency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Angular (Versions 4 and 5+): Experience with developing and managing applications using Angular.
- Java and JavaScript: Proficient in Java programming and JavaScript.
- Spring Boot and Spring Framework: Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring framework, including Spring Batch.
- Design Patterns: Strong understanding and application of design patterns.
- DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- REST API: Proficient in developing and managing RESTful APIs.
- SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Control-M: Experience with Control-M for job scheduling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in automated testing environments, CI/CD pipelines, and relevant tools and technologies.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address operational issues.
- Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
