We are in search of a seasoned
Senior Java Developer with a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, and proficiency in AWS. This individual will be a significant addition to our
remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your role will entail designing and crafting software solutions that are scalable and well-maintained. Your technological proficiency should span a wide range of areas, not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala or Go Language but also including Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work in harmony with a diverse set of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the product is delivered efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and provide solutions
- Designing and executing software solutions that are scalable and maintainable
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Implementation of coding standards through code review
- Creation and preservation of automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Involvement in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Prompt and top-notch delivery of code
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing intricate systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English; Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level with dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
