Our
remote team is in search of a
Senior Java Developer with a strong command of AWS and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
As a Product Engineer, your role will encompass designing and developing scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your technical expertise should span across various technology areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working closely with a diverse team, you will ensure efficient and timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Designing and executing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Enforcing coding standards via code review
- Setting up and protecting automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- A knack for creating unique solutions (features)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English, with upper-intermediate or higher proficiency level, and dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
