Senior Java Developer well versed in AWS, ReactJS, and Data Structures and Algorithms for a
remote role in our product development team.
The person filling this position needs to be self-reliant and capable of overcoming challenges independently. As an established Java Developer, your main responsibility includes enhancing and generating new facets of our product by implementing unmatched solutions that outstrip customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, development, and maintenance of top-notch software solutions using Java and similar technologies
- Collaborative work with cross-functional teams for requirements analysis and provision of innovative solutions
- Development and upkeep of responsive RESTful APIs for integration with diverse systems
- Architectural planning of a scalable microservices framework employing Spring Boot and similar tools
- Generation of clean, maintainable, and testable code in compliance with software development best practices
- Active participation in rigorous code review to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Deployment and management of software applications on cloud platforms, such as AWS
- Swift diagnosis and resolution of software issues
- Stay updated on evolving trends and technological advancements in software development
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Java programming language, coupled with deep knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Expertise in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Comprehensive understanding of Clean Code principles and proficiency in system design and analysis
- Proficiency in Microservices, API, Integration Standards, SQL, and NoSQL tools
- Competence in Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of ReactJS, Spring, and proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices
- Exceptional skills in requirement-gathering and a comprehensive viewpoint
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the acumen to deal with complex issues
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
- Proficiency in English written and verbal communication at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience in React Native and mobile development
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework
