We seek a
Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our
remote team.
As our Product Engineer, you will design and develop scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological expertise should encompass a wide variety of areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, plus Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working cohesively with our diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, your role ensures the prompt, efficient delivery of the product.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Scalable and maintainable software solution design and execution
- Application of clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Code review for coding standard enforcement
- Automated test setup and safeguarding for quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- On-time, high-quality code delivery
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- System design and architecture discussion participation
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a Java focus
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Data Structures and Algorithms expertise
- Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language experience
- Complex systems with transactions, high-load systems optimization experience
- Out of the box solutions (features) creation experience
- SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration proficiency
- CI/CD processes and tools familiarity
- Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure proficiency
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities and a strong sense of ownership
- Fluency in English at the Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, with dynamic verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, experience
- Practical Big Data technologies experience, like Hadoop and Spark
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies familiarity
