We are looking for a
Senior Java Developer with AWS expertise and a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our
remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your role will include designing and developing scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological prowess should extend across a wide range of areas including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, and Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will be collaborating with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and punctual delivery of the product.
Responsibilities
- Involvement with cross-functional teams for understanding project requirements and providing solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Adherence to clean coding principles in coding and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards via code reviews
- Creation and preservation of automated tests for quality assurance
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Punctual delivery of high-quality code
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience with optimization of complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Previous involvement in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, with a proficiency level of Upper-Intermediate or higher, and effective verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
