We're looking for a
Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and a solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, to become part of our
remote team.
As a member of our team, you'll serve as a Product Engineer, creating and implementing software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. You should be proficient in a wide range of technologies, including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work in collaboration with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Designing and executing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles in the creation and maintenance of code
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Setting up and protecting automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Ensuring timely and high-quality code delivery
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher), with effective verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
