We're on the hunt for a
Senior Java Developer with a strong understanding of AWS, Data Structures, and Algorithms, to bolster our
remote team.
As our Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the design and development of software solutions that prioritize scalability and maintainability. Your technical acumen should encompass a broad spectrum of technologies including, but not confined to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll be collaborating closely with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure our product is delivered effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and devise solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards via code review
- Establishment and preservation of automated tests to guarantee quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Engaging in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers in a technical capacity
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Profound knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Proven ability to create out of the box solutions/features
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skilled in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
