We seek a
Senior Java Developer with AWS expertise and a thorough understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our
remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you will have a role in the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technical proficiency should encompass various technology areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working alongside a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the efficient, timely delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration for understanding project specifications and providing solutions
- Design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code reviews
- Creation and maintenance of automated tests for quality assurance
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load transaction systems
- Experience in developing unique solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership
- English fluency, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
