We're on the hunt for a
Senior Java Developer boasting AWS expertise and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. This role will be part of our
remote team.
As our Product Engineer, you'll engage in the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technical prowess should extend across a plethora of technology spaces, not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Collaborating closely with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you'll ensure the product is delivered efficiently and timely.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and provide solutions
- Designing and executing scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Code review to enforce coding standards
- Establishment and protection of automated tests for quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and associated activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers in a technical capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software development, focusing on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Past exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience developing innovative solutions (features)
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skilled in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership attitude and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluent English with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
