Senior Java Developer with superior AWS expertise and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. The position is
remote and involves association with our product engineering team.
The role encompasses developing scalable, maintainable software solutions. The candidate's technological proficiency must span Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in conjunction with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Collaboration with an assorted team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders for efficient product delivery is a crucial element of the role.
Responsibilities
- Understanding project requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions
- Designing and executing software solutions that are scalable and maintainable
- Application of clean coding principles in creating and maintaining code
- Code review for enforcing coding standards
- Establishment and maintenance of automated tests for quality assurance
- Active involvement in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Ensuring timely and high-quality code delivery
- Documenting code and system architecture related tasks
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers in the role of a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or similar
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, preferably in Java
- Prior engagement with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Specialization in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Previous experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Knowledge of optimizing complex, high-load transaction systems
- Experience in crafting out of the box solutions or features
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership sense and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerization technologies
- Practical exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
