Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust backend applications. A deep understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB is essential. You will play a pivotal role in building scalable and efficient solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
• Implement complex business logic and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and technology trends.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java 11 or above
• Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot framework
• In-depth understanding of MongoDB, including data modeling and query optimization
• Experience with RESTful API development
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience with version control systems (BitBucket)
• Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CloudBuild)
• Proficiency in relational databases (Postgres/SQL)
• Familiarity with graph databases (Neo4J)
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle)
