Senior IT Support Engineer

Job Description

  • Working to agreed SLAs, p rovide second- line end - user support for all internal systems , devices , meeting room s , and IT service s globally .
  • Administer business- critical corporate appli c ations, including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, AAD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Slack , Zoom, Intune , Jir a and Confluence
  • Work on Intune application packaging, policy , and process implementation .
  • Provide a Jira and Confluence support, including app provisioning and implementing system changes
  • Manage issue e scalations with internal senior colleagues and external IT system suppliers .
  • Adminster ,and find solutions for, AV technology requirements in intelliflo s physical offices.
  • Support Corporate Technology projects up to 10% of the time.
  • Create Service Desk documentation and model best practices to other members of the team
Work Experience/ Knowledge
  • 3 + years of experience of Service Desk s upport .
  • Advanced understanding of user hardware , Intune, VPNs , collaboration hardware , and Cloud technolog ies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems; Windows Desktops, Windows Server, Azure Active Directory, and c ollaboration tools as Slack, Teams, and Zoom . Strong understanding and working knowledge of Azure Active directory .
  • Experience working with external vendors.
  • Experience m entoring junior team members preferred.
Formal Education
Degree level in Computer S cience or a related degree
Certification
Certifications as required by Corp Tech management.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical approach .
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete work to deadlines and SLAs both as part of a team and individually .
  • Excellent communicat . ion skills, both written and verbally, and ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical terms
  • A positive can do attitude, willing to go the extra mile and happy to assist in all levels of Corporate Technology team activity.
  • Passion for continuous service improvement, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to enhance our processes.
