About the role/project:
We are looking for a Senior Concur Consultant/Deployment Lead who will support and lead the Global Concur Consulting CoE team. This role requires solid expertise on configuring Concur modules (Expense, Travel & Request). As a deployment lead (m/w/d) should analyze, design and maintain SAP Concur application. Managing and coordinating the activities of Implementation Consultants, overseeing requirement gathering, documentation, and evaluation of complex customer business requirements.
What do we expect:
Concur Implementation:
- Manage multiple single or multi-country SAP Concur implementations individually & in group level as the Deployment Lead.
- Handle all aspects of SAP Concur solutions, including modules, functionalities, integrations, and change management.
- Expertise in Concur configurations and implementations. Resolve technical issues affecting user experience, data integrity, and system functionality.
- Oversee cut-over plans, ensure deliverables are met, and manage configuration & integration support.
- Expense Configuration certification is a plus.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and work with team members to manage workload and meet business SLAs.
- Experience in setting up SSO and familiarity with various integrations with Concur.
- Manage global, multi-phased SAP Concur implementations using the standard methodology. Share SAP Concur expertise and upskill peers.
- Understanding of Expense processing in SAP S4 HANA preferred.
- Provide advisory and consulting, analyze and solve problems, and liaise with customers to meet their requirements. Work effectively with global teams across various time zones.
- Promote integrity and compliance.
Concur Maintenance & Reporting:
- Guide, educate project and operations teams, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and best practices.
- Use required standards and tools for documenting work, such as SOPs.
- Handle user profiles, company card transactions, and support queries. Monitor and process tickets and coordinate with global instances as needed.
- Quickly address and escalate critical incidents. Knowledge on Global service now ticketing system preferred.
- Work with entities on issues related to financial postings from Concur to SAP. Manage security and audit risks while meeting business objectives.
- Experience with Cognos reporting (Report Studio, Query Studio) for expense and travel. Reports customization experience preferred.
What you will do:
- As a Project Lead you are expected to lead the CoE team of Concur experts, budget for the upcoming implementations, analyze and project next deployments.
- End to end ownership in Configuring and implementing new entities in Concur Global instance.
- Provide expert advice on best practices and effective use of Concur solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP Concur releases and enhancements and assess their impact on business.
- Aligning with Global team for changes in the system.
- Manage CoE and guide the onboarding entities.
- Handling Incidents and user queries through ticketing and emails.
- Learn very fast, have a high impact and start-up approach.
What you should have:
- 9+ years of experience (5+ years of implementation experience)
- 3-4 end to end implementation with system integration experience, min. 2 years of project management experience as deployment lead)
- Solid expertise in Concur Expense (including Travel Allowance), Cognos Intelligence, ExpenseIt, Travel and Request modules. Preferred expertise in Concur Budget, Concur Invoice, Central Reconciliation.
- Proficiency in SAP ICS native integration, Concur Web API, SFTP/File transfer logic and protocols, and file import/extract interfaces.
- Full life cycle Concur implementation experience. Strong functional & technical consulting skills.
- Consulting experience related to business applications (Financial, Payroll, and HR systems) and spend management best practices.
- Deep technical capabilities in SAP Concur site design, site configuration, configuration validation, technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple SAP Concur fast-paced system implementations to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills in English.
- Proactive, action-oriented mindset backed with strong project management experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
