Job Description
Program and project management experience and extensive expertise in managing
projects using agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Azure Devops, etc)
Demonstrates engagement and ownership of project(s) and drives delivery
Manages moderately complex or complex IT projects end-to-end to deliver business
outcomes
Manages delivery of project outcomes, ensures project is completed on time, within
budget, and to a high degree of satisfaction
Identifies and understands cross project dependencies and works with other project
managers to ensure work schedules, resources, and milestones are aligned
Program and project change and risk management. Partner with responsible
management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenges in
resources, schedule, or scope and recommend solutions. Recommends corrective
actions on projects, if required. Understands the impact of changes and adjusts project
plans and communicates accordingly.
Collates and tracks program status information and project artifacts at various stages of
a projects lifecycle (finances, resources).
Ensures methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects; using the
agreed tools at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follows the
approved methodology.
Adherence to PMO Methodology and Lifecycle Processes and ensuring project
documentation centralized and posted to meet audit requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Interacts and maintains ongoing communication at the appropriate levels within the
team as well as with the stakeholders, and ensures everyone on the delivery team
understands their roles and responsibility.
Undertakes regular work streams and project meetings, documenting and following up
on actions and risks identified from the meetings.
Partnering in program/project continuous improvement to revise procedures and
processes as needed to improve delivery.
Planning/coordinating projects and schedules, including application release schedule
Tracking/reporting on project status and financials and meets with key stakeholders and
reviews data.
Develops and manages resource plan management
Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools (Planview, etc.) to manage
resource plans and financials
Provides appropriate reporting and information in a format that enables timely decision
making and issue resolution by the Steering Group and Sponsors, and in turn to a higher
governance board
Ensure stakeholders remain engaged and aware of the role they play in project success
