The Architect provides strategic and actionable architecture designs to activate the needed capabilities, to strengthen Philips to lead alongu00A0
the health continuum, and to enable the Philips transformation to a Health solutions provider.

Your role:

  • Guide and mentor teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring high-quality architectural designs, Wiki pages, Guidelines. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team.u00A0

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into a coherent, scalable technology roadmap. Ensure that the architectural roadmap aligns with the company's strategic objectives and follows industry best practices.u00A0

  • Continuously monitor technology trends to determine their potential impact on the organization's solutions. Assess new tools, platforms, and frameworks for their potential to enhance the business's service offerings.u00A0

  • Drive innovation by researching, prototyping, and implementing cutting-edge AI algorithms and techniques, including Generative AI models.u00A0u00A0

  • Develop expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and technology stacks to create robust solutions. Establish best practices for deploying and managing solutions across different environments.u00A0

  • Create guidelines for the integration of open-source technologies into enterprise solutions, considering licensing, security, and support.u00A0

  • Architect and Execute hands on to build proof-of-concept solutions for Generative AI Projects. Provide technical oversight to ensure that prototypes align with theu00A0u00A0

  • Architect solutions with built-in observability to enable proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.u00A0

  • Investigate new means, methods, techniques and technologies when appropriate.u00A0

  • Ensure all aspects of the solutions are measurable and meet service-level objectives.u00A0

  • Develop templates and frameworks that accelerate the design and deployment of solutions. Promote code reusability and consistency across projects.u00A0u00A0

  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising on performance or scalability. Create Reusable modules for multiple use cases and providing API`s which can be used as abstractionsu00A0

  • Architect scalable and reliable AI systems, considering performance, security, and maintainability requirementsu00A0

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Generative AI-related topics, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal stakeholders and external partners.u00A0u00A0

  • u00A0Continuously review and refine deployed solutions for enhancements in efficiency, performance, and alignment with user needs. Implement feedback loops to ensure solution architectures evolve with changing business requirements.u00A0

The Software IT Architect (this position) will be part of the central enterprise architecture team working in close collaboration and under the guidance of the Principal IT Architect.


You're the right fit if:

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering (computer science or equivalent) with15+ year experience. This experience should include expertise in :
  • Experience designing and architecting scalable and reliable software systems.u00A0
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with experience in applying Generative AI techniques to solve real-world problems.u00A0
  • Familiarity with usage patterns and best practices for integrating AI into enterprise applications.u00A0
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed computing.u00A0
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with proficiency in AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).u00A0
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.u00A0
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.u00A0u00A0

  • The role will be part of a geographically distributed team. This will need a global mindset and an ability to work with geographically distributed teams across time zones.
  • The individual should have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Should be a team player working as part of cross functional teams composed of IT, R&D, operations, and service across business and markets
  • Ability to appreciate multiple domains (within healthcare and wellness) and their overlaps
  • Should be sensitive to cultural differences in globally spread teams
  • Should be able to venture into unknown problems , conceptualise the solution and implement the same and enterprise production quality.
