We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with 5-10 years of experience in the job market context of India. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing projects, collaborating with clients, and overseeing a team of junior designers to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts that meet their requirements
- Oversee a team of junior designers, providing guidance and feedback as necessary
- Prepare and present design proposals, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring project profitability
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure successful project implementation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate new design techniques and technologies into project work
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects
- Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of color, form, and space
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and other design software
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and external vendors
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
