Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel)

Job Description :

• Perform ESX patch management and ensure the smooth operation of virtual environments
• Manage VMware environments, including high availability, DRS, VMotion, and Storage VMotion
• Use VMware Capacity Planner and PlateSpin PowerConvert for V2P and P2V migrations
• Work closely with team members and present gaps, create changes, and manage approvals as per ITIL processes
• Incident, change, and problem management are mandatory requirements
• Lead L2/L3 support activities and manage a team of 6 engineers
• Batching and automation processes, primarily using SCCM
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management

• Strong hands-on experience with Wintel technologies
• Excellent understanding of VMware tools, high availability, DRS, and migrations (V2P, P2V)
• Familiarity with SCCM for automation and patching
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices
• Experience managing infrastructure environments and ensuring high availability
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle batching activities on weekends
