The Opportunity
Commvault Consulting Services helps customers overcome the inherent challenges of independently designing, planning, and building-out new modern data & information management environments.
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful SeniorImplementation Specialist to be part of our Professional Services team. This team member will be part of our professional services organization and will report directly to the Area Services Manager. This new member will be responsible for delivering solution deployments to our customers throughout the globe. The perfect candidate will bring a positive attitude, efficient time management, innovative ideas, hard work ethic, and deliver quality customer service to our clients.
What you'll do
Engage with a mix of technical and non-technical stakeholders on a project basis to extract required outcomes, consult through asking open-ended questions, and assess feasibility.
Define outcome-focused deliverables and then implement and document the deliverables.
Interface directly with clients to review and discuss deployments, expanding the scale of these projects.
Complete the scope of work as defined by client and sales team.
Validate all Commvault-completed tasks to ensure proper final configuration of the Commvault solution with customer.
Ensure customer satisfaction during implementation.
Mentor team members.
Identify improvements in service delivery.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of Commvault experience
7+ years of backup/recovery and data management industry experience
3+ years of Public Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with disk/tape storage hardware (HDS, Dell/EMC, NetApp, Oracle, Quantum, etc.)
Proficiency with backup and recovery of Microsoft SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint
Technical skills in Oracle, SAP, Exchange or other database platforms
Good with networking configurations and troubleshooting
Experience with OS like Win, Linux, Unix, AIX
Scripting knowledge and workflow automation is an added advantage
Experience working with RESTful API interfaces and how to authenticate with, integrate and consume them is a plus.
CommVault certified. Hands-on experience with private cloud (VMware, Hyper-V)
Hands-on orchestration experience with public cloud (AWS EC2, S3, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob / File)
Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
