What is the role that we need We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and oversee the whole of HR Operations. This role will be responsible for developing and executing all HR related initiatives and strategies aligned to the company culture and business goals and strategies. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable to manage all key functions of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance and legal, organizational development, performance management, to foster a productive and good working environment. We are also looking for someone who has experience in working with start-up companies and has experience in implementing all key HR functions from the ground up..
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Operations:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the companys culture and business objectives.
- Oversee all HR operations to ensure alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
Talent Acquisition:
- Knowledge to be able to manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding,
- Knowledge of recruiting assessments and CEFR ratings to ensure that top talent is selected.
- Develop effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement and satisfaction programs and activities
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and benefits analysis to ensure competitive offerings.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage employee documentation and maintain accurate records to adhere to legal standards.
Organizational Development: (Preferred but not required)
- Support organizational change initiatives and manage development programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance management processes and ensure they align with company objectives.
- Provide guidance on performance evaluations, improvement plans, and career development.
Job Requirements and Credentials:
Essential
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of HR management experience, including at least 3-4 years in a senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations in India.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, ATS, and HR Analytics.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with start-up companies and the ability to strategically implement HR initiatives would be an advantage.
Desired
- Masters degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency and adaptability in Recruitment assessment systems.
