The role
We are looking for an experienced Sr HSE and QA Officer to join our organization based in Jhagadia , Gujarat.
- Overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) & QMS systems within the infant nutrient storage, packaging, and distribution center
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, including FSSAI, ISO 9001 , ISO 45000 and company-specific quality and safety requirements, safeguarding both the safety of the workforce and the quality of products throughout the supply chain.
- Identifying , assessing, and managing HSE & Quality Related risks within storage, packaging, and distribution processes.
- Coordinating and participating in HSE & QMS audits, including internal audits, external certification audits, and compliance inspections.
- Handling documentation related to Q.A. activities such as SOP, Change control, CAPA , Deviation , Management reviews , Customer complaints , Customer feedbacks etc.
- Providing accurate and timely HSE & QMS performance reports to business leaders and participate in HSE & QMS management review meetings.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Industrial Engineer Biotechnology , Food technology , Bpharm , Mpharma , BSc , MSC or a related field.
- Proven experience in HSE or QMS roles, preferably in the food or infant nutrition industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FSSAI regulations, ISO 9001 standards, and QMS principles.
- Strong understanding of safety management, risk assessment, and quality control processes in storage, packaging, and distribution environments.
- Years Of Experience : minimum 3 years
