The WEKA People Team is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join us and work cross-functionally to develop, execute and manage various HR frameworks and programs focused on performance management, learning & development, employee onboarding/engagement along with various other human resources programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting the overall success of the organization. In addition, they will work closely with executives and senior leadership, alongside supporting managers and employees at all levels of the organization. This role is primarily an India and APAC-focused role, with high levels of collaboration across the WEKA People Team and wider business.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop strong working relationships with key business stakeholders across multiple teams and regions.
- Build trust and become an active member of client group leadership teams, driving the HR agenda, and providing direction on business initiatives, operational best practices, and change management.
- Collaborate with global HR functional teams to support and execute programs in employee engagement, career paths, succession planning, performance assessments, compensation planning, recruiting, and retention.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Partner with managers on performance management cases.
- Provide guidance and interpretation on regional HR policies.
- Work onsite at the London office at least three days per week.
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years of client-facing HR experience, preferably in a global, dynamic, fast-growing technology business.
- Proven track record of developing trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in coaching, influencing, and negotiating with senior leaders, including the C-Suite and Sales Leadership.
- Proven experience in performance management and employee relations.
- Experience managing the onboarding and offboarding process for all new hires and leavers in India and multiple APAC countries.
- Experience in multinational, fast-paced, progressive organizations.
- Commitment to excellent employee and candidate experience and customer service.
- Business acumen to build and develop a solid understanding of functional business groups.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, operate professionally, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, pivot, and problem-solve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer relationships.
