Job Description

You will;

  • Be Omio's North Star - With your expertise and experience, you will partner with C-Suite/management and senior leadership at Omio to support the realisation of the company business objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the People team to design and deliver fit-for-purpose and pragmatic people plans for your respective functions.
  • Use your positive energy, experience, HR expertise, business acumen and passion for people to deliver People-centric projects that make Omio a better place for our employees to thrive.
  • You have end-to-end responsibility regarding the planning, design and conception as well as the delivery of the content of your projects, in alignment with the overall People strategy and in collaboration with the wider people team
  • Help to build a sustainable and successful business within your functional remit by driving organisational development, organisational design, retention & engagement initiatives and projects. Ensure alignment with peers at all times.
  • Ensure effectiveness, speed and quality of your projects & plans by choosing the right metrics/KPI and look for continuous improvement
  • Be a proud brand ambassador of Omio
  • Be an evangelist and actively help to build an organisation that enables teams to be at their best and people to build rewarding careers
  • Identify and implement process initiatives to make sure we run smoothly and efficiently with a great employee experience
  • Constantly check for alignment on your proposed initiatives with People team colleagues.

We have a dynamic and exciting People (HR) function here in Omio and looking for an additional team member, to help build a new office in Bangalore.

This role will cover various business functions from HR, Finance, Product and Technology.

Working closely with our Chief People Officer, these roles will be a key conduit to our leaders, ensuring our the organisation is responding to the rapidly evolving landscape.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an international start-up or scale-up environment (in Germany or other market) or Tech-Company
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering in People Partner roles over a number of years; the successful candidate is likely to be able to look back at an HR-related career for about eight years
  • Strategic thinker; able to see the bigger picture and focus on details at the same time
  • Change-driven and open to new solutions by thinking out of the box
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented personality with confidence and skills to communicate and partner at senior leadership and C-suite level
  • Can-do attitude; highly organized, a structured way of working, and the talent to inspire people
  • A passionate self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Data savvy, strong experience working with and analysing reports and dashboards, followed by a pristine understanding of data meaning and limitations
  • Language skills are a distinct advantage. The company language is English so fluency here (written and spoken) is a must. Fluent German desirable.
  • Masters degree in Business, HR or Psychology or related professional qualification (CPD Lv5)
