Job Title: Senior Digital Graphic Designer (Social Media Focus)

Job Overview:
Protein World is looking for a creative and digitally savvy Senior Digital Graphic Designer with a strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. This person will be responsible for designing visually compelling content that resonates with our audience across these platforms, helping to drive engagement and support brand storytelling. In addition to static designs, the ideal candidate will have experience working with dynamic and video-based content, collaborating with the content and marketing teams to develop visuals that align with platform trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media-Specific Design:
- Design dynamic visuals optimized for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, including thumbnails, video overlays, interactive posts, and short-form content.
- Create visually engaging assets that reflect Protein World's vibrant, fun, and rebellious brand ethos while maintaining platform-specific guidelines and trends.
- Collaborate with the social media content manager to design assets that fit both video content and static posts, ensuring high engagement across all platforms.
2. Video-Integrated Design:
- Design graphics and animations for video content, such as intros, outros, and in-video graphics for YouTube and TikTok.
- Work with the content creation team to ensure that designs integrate seamlessly into video formats and enhance storytelling.
- Stay updated with platform-specific visual trends (e.g., TikToks fast-paced style or YouTubes thumbnail preferences) to ensure designs are on-trend.
3. Social Media Campaign Design:
- Develop graphics for social media campaigns, including influencer collaborations, paid ads, and organic posts.
- Create visually compelling ad creatives, banners, and promotional materials specifically for use on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Ensure that designs align with campaign objectives while keeping the content fun, rebellious, and personalized to engage the target audience.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, video production, and content teams to ensure consistency across visual content on social media.
- Provide design support for influencer content creation, ensuring that influencer posts and collaborations visually align with the Protein World brand.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to design visuals for social media email flows and promotions, ensuring integration across all digital touchpoints.
5. Creative Direction & Innovation:
- Stay on top of social media design trends and continuously propose new ways to enhance brand engagement through creative, platform-specific designs.
- Experiment with different design styles and formats to keep Protein Worlds social media content fresh and engaging.
- Offer creative input into the development of video content, ensuring that the visual style remains cohesive across both static and dynamic posts.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of graphic design experience, with a focus on digital and social media content.
- Proven experience creating engaging designs specifically for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and experience with video editing tools.
- A deep understanding of video content design for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram (e.g., creating thumbnails, in-video graphics, animations, and social media ad creatives).
- Experience working with social media managers, content creators, or videographers to develop cohesive, engaging visual content.
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of platform-specific trends and user behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of social media strategies and content optimization for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Experience in a fast-paced D2C environment, ideally in lifestyle, wellness, or health brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media-focused designs and creative campaigns.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including content creators and marketing specialists, to execute engaging social media content.
