Senior Graphic Designer

Practical DevSecOps is seeking a talented and experienced graphic designer to join our team on a fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and grid systems. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in using Illustrator, and Photoshop. Excellent English writing and speaking skills are also required for this role.

As a graphic designer at Practical DevSecOps, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software to design layouts, and producing high-quality graphics for a variety of mediums, including print, web, and video. You will work closely with our marketing team to bring our brand to life through innovative and engaging designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop isometric illustrations, logos, icons and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and skills

• 3+ years of experience
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Able to learn new skill/tool quickly
