Your Role
- Design & Develop APIs: Create and maintain scalable APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Build User Interfaces: Develop responsive UIs with React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work with cross-functional teams to implement and optimise solutions.
- Optimise Systems: Enhance front-end and back-end systems for performance and scalability.
- Lead & Review Code: Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot & Debug: Identify and resolve issues to maintain optimal application performance.
- Database Management: Design and implement database architectures, ensuring efficient data handling.
- Implement Caching Solutions: Utilise technologies like Redis or Memcached to boost system performance.
- Ensure Technical Feasibility: Validate UI/UX designs for technical feasibility and performance.
- Front-End Build Tools: Solid understanding of front-end build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
What You Bring
- Experience: 8+ years in full-stack development with proven results.
- Expertise: Strong skills in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and Next.js, GraphQL or other modern API design methodologies and Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- API Design: Experience in designing RESTful APIs, microservices and working with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Database Proficiency: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Caching Solutions: Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
- Front-End Build Tools & CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in front-end build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle challenges effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
