Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience building marketplace websites to manage the development of this site. As the technical lead for this project, you will be responsible for building a robust, scalable platform that offers a seamless user experience. You'll work closely with our product team to ensure the platform meets the needs of both families seeking care and providers offering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of CareLink, a marketplace connecting families with eldercare providers.
- Architect and build the full stack of the platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to implement user-friendly features and functionality.
- Develop APIs to integrate with third-party tools and services.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize for various devices.
- Manage the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Oversee and mentor junior developers as the team grows.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience building marketplace websites or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in front-end (React.js or similar) and back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, or similar).
- Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Strong understanding of API development and integration with third-party tools.
- Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud infrastructure services.
- Expertise in ensuring mobile responsiveness and optimizing UX across devices.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and handling sensitive data.
- Experience with scalability and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
