Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Stack Developer, who will be working as an innovator and architect for the Consumer Technology Pathfinding Group in India. In this role, you will research new technologies, usage trends, platforms, the security landscape, and solutions. Identify new product opportunities that have the potential to create new revenue streams for McAfee in the rapidly changing app landscape of web, mobile devices, and PCs.
This is a remote position in India only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About The Role
- Research, design, and development of next-generation software to protect users digital interactions across the Web, mobile, PCs, wearables, and IoT. Design and develop new solutions for emerging threats in security, privacy, identity, transactions, and data.
- Leverage cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, GenAI, cloud computing, and big data to create elegant solutions to everyday user problems in the areas of cyber security, identity, privacy, data protection, and online security.
- Assess technical feasibility by building rapid PoCs, finding technological solutions for gaps, and creating strategic IP as necessary.
- Work closely with user experience designers and product owners to translate specs into consumer-facing applications and services.
- Execute with a sense of urgency to drive ideas into products through the innovation lifecycle. Architect solutions from scratch, extracting the essence of user pain points and navigating the product opportunity space.
About You
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in building technology solutions for cloud/Android/iOS/browser/web/PC/Mac apps, with a deep focus on security, usability, performance, and integration.
- Proven experience of architecting and building end-to-end cloud (AWS/Azure)-based technology solutions for various platforms and form factors (Windows, Mobile, embedded/Router, etc.).
- Expertise in SQL, no-SQL and big data frameworks, MS-SQL, Casandra, MongoDB, Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc., middleware like Kafka, Flume, MQTT, Redis, etc.
- Experience with neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP tools and frameworks will be a big plus. with a deep understanding of OS architecture and internals in one or more of Windows, Linux, Android, or iOS.
- Deep skills in one or more of C/C++/Golang, Python, R, PHP, HTML5, JS, or CSS
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle Architect and design leading solutions with a strong focus on security, performance, and scalability. Hands-on experience with TDD is a plus.
