Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced senior front-end developer with a proven track record in e-commerce development. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating design concepts into dynamic, responsive web and mobile applications. They should also be able to work closely with our UI/UX designers to ensure that the design is executed accurately and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality front-end code for a wide range of interactive web and mobile projects, with a focus on e-commerce.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end code, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications perform beautifully across various devices and screen sizes.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, maintaining the integrity of user experiences across platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and design trends, applying best practices to all work.
- Bonus: Demonstrated experience in developing mobile applications.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with front-end development tools and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Previous experience in e-commerce development using headless architecture is mandatory.
- A keen eye for design detail and the ability to apply design principles in web development.
- Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems.
- Knowledge of legacy e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of SEO principles and UX design best practices.
- Experience in using mobile-first and responsive design methodologies.
- A portfolio, GitHub repository, or equivalent proof of work is preferred.
