Role Description:
The Senior Food Analyst will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analysis of food samples in the wet lab, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. This role requires expertise in wet chemical analysis, adherence to NABL protocols, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical analysis of food samples using standard methodologies.
- Ensure accurate and reliable results while maintaining compliance with NABL guidelines.
- Oversee quality control measures and validate test procedures.
- Train and mentor junior staff in wet lab practices and techniques.
- Maintain thorough documentation as per ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Troubleshoot analytical issues and suggest improvements to existing methodologies.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports for clients.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory, specifically in the wet section.
- Proficiency in titrimetric, gravimetric, and other wet chemical analysis techniques.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, NABL requirements, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
