Position Overview
Autodesk Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid) is used for production management, review pipelines, and resource management by the biggest names in VFX, TV, and Games. Expanding into some of the best Construction and Automotive companies in the world, they are now empowering their distributed creative departments through Flow Production Tracking.
On the Developer Support Program, we are looking for an exceptional software engineer and subject matter expert to join our growing team, directly supporting these customers in the amazing work they do.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing fixes and enhancements directly in the Flow Production Tracking product and contributing to the success of our amazing customers. As you grow within the role, you will have opportunities to work with some of our customers in India to advise, diagnose, and help solve their production management workflow issues.
Responsibilities
Work with developers, user experience designers, QAs, and product owners to identify, troubleshoot, design, and develop product fixes and enhancements
Develop high quality code, write functional tests, and collaborate on technical designs
Be a member of a fun, collaborative, high-performing team and contribute directly to the success of the Developer Support Program, Autodesk, and our customers
Minimum Qualifications
5 to 8 years of experience with React, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar web technologies
Familiar with database configuration, preferably PostgreSQL
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a cross-functional, high-performing team
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Good organisational skills. Comfortable working independently to tackle challenges in a remote working environment
Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
VFX or Games production experience, ideally using Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid)
General knowledge of Game and Film Production Pipelines
Experience with other languages: Python, C++, etc.
Experience using or developing within key Autodesk products. For example: Arnold, Maya, 3dsMax, MotionBuilder, Flow Capture, RV, etc.
