Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Power division in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Designing, Implementing and Validating software applications.
- Formulating Analog and Digital Electronics.
- Design & Implement Firmware solutions primarily for Power Products.
- Contributing towards general improvement by providing support as needed.
- Integrating Engineering Solutions for customized customer requirements & Application.
- Assisting customers to troubleshoot issues related to the operation of real-time & mission-critical systems.
- Applying the NPI process by overseeing NPI tollgate activities and managing related documentation for each NPI Program.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer/ Instrumentation / Communication Engineering
- 8 to 10 years of experience with software development.
- Passionate about software development Strong experience in the Linux Embedded domain with a strong expertise in Linux system internals.
- Experience in hardware debugging, porting and board bring-up Development experience on GNU tools and cross-tool chain.
- Experience in C/C++, Embedded Linux build systems (Yocto/Buildroot), Microcontrollers, build systems (Make, CMake), Knowledge of the Linux ecosystem (system calls, libc, network management, systemd, Linux utilities), Python.
- Demonstrated abilities: strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, manage multiple tasks, self-starter and independent.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and work in a multicultural environment.
