You will be working as Senior Finance Specialist - General Accounting and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Finance Team Lead - General Accounting and will be primarily responsible to handle selected accounting activities relating period close accounting activities including balance sheet and manual journal entries. The role included control-related activities such as review and approve journals. Driving improvements within this process globally by working with R2R core team on policy changes. In case of issues, deficiencies the role will ensure driving root cause analysis and remediations with respective operational teams.
Your responsibilities
- Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
- Performing reconciliations of accounts and get to details for any discrepancies
- Performing accounting related analysis and generate reports to support finance queries
- Performing month end book closing and reporting activities
- Assisting team leader during the audits
- Performing such other activities as required to meet the stake holders requirement
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years operational experience in General Accounting
- A proven team player in a similar or a higher sized team
- Expertise in the end-to-end R2R Process involving Intra-Group area
- Working knowledge of SAP
