Position Overview

Job Title: SeniorFinance Officer

We are looking for an accomplished and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join our expanding CFO Office. The candidate must have substantial experience in finance within an Indian company and possess thorough knowledge of banking, business, and tax laws. This role demands strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with partner organizations and government offices and fluency in Hindi, English, and Bengali.

1)Manage and oversee daily financial transactions and operations.

2)Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

3)Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

4)Ensure compliance with all relevant banking, business, and tax laws in India.

5)Maintain communication with regulatory bodies to stay updated on legal requirements.

6)Develop and nurture relationships with partner organizations, banks, and government offices.

7)Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support financial operations.

8)Create and present financial reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations.

9)Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement.

10)Support the CFO in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.

11)Participate in financial audits and help implement necessary improvements.

12)Stay informed about the latest developments in financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA Inter/Foundation, CS) is a plus.
2. Proven experience (3 5 years) within the Finance Unit of an Indian Company, primarily looking into revenue and cost affairs of the organization.
3. Should have strong knowledge and hold over Banking, Business and Tax laws of India.
4. Should have command over Hindi, English and Bengali.
5. Should have interpersonal skills to develop and foster relationships with partner organizations and government offices.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
