Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our NBFC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, compliance, and risk management functions. They will work closely with senior management to develop strategies for financial growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial planning and forecasting to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Manage the budgeting process and monitor performance against financial targets.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management to support business planning and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA will be preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller / lead or similar role in the NBFC sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
