Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Finance Professional to lead the finance function focused on large deals in India. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of qualified experience in supporting the business that manages large deals. This role will be responsible for supporting large deals, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting of the Large deals unit. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead large deals:
- Provide financial leadership for large deals, including pricing, structuring, and negotiation
Pre-deal Submissions
- Work on deal models & qualifications
- Work closely with the sales and legal teams to ensure that the terms and conditions are aligned with the company's strategy
- Develop financial models to support deal analysis and decision-making
- Actively involved in cost tracking/component costs, & vendor mgt. inputs
- Build deal revenue view and P&L view for the respective deal models
- Follow the approval matrix with respect to relevant approvals
Post Deal
- RYG /RAG status on deals and deal profitability
- Milestone tracking
- Deal model vs actuals (Rev & cost)
- Budget release and P&L management
- Acceptance & SLA; AR & Penalties
- Monthly financial performance management
Manage Financial Planning And Analysis
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and maintain a comprehensive financial plan
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and growth
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Oversee Budgeting And Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, expenses, and cash flow
- Evaluate financial performance against budget and forecast and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure Financial Reporting Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes
- Support in external/internal audits and financial reporting
Build And Manage a High-performing Finance Team
- Hire, develop, and retain a team of finance professionals with the necessary skills and experience to support
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- CA/MBA from a premier institute and/or postgraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 10-20 years of qualified experience in managing finance functions, with a focus on P&L management and financial planning and analysis
- Should have worked previously in roles of increasing managerial capacity in IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and IT/cloud-oriented organizations
- Should have led/been directly involved in pricing and structuring of large deals in private and Government segments
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and reporting skills
- Experience in managing complex financial transactions, including financing, and strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing finance teams
