Job Description

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Designation: Senior Finance Executive

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Accounts professional to join one of our reputed clients in Mumbai. This role is perfect for a finance professional with a background in accounting, vendor management, and financial analysis, ideally experienced with SAP systems. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is a global consumer-driven manufacturing and sourcing platform serving the world's leading brands and retailers. Over the last few years, our client has widened its presence across the globe. They have its global footprints in 22 countries with 50+ offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Record and manage accounting transactions in SAP, coordinating with teams across the UK, Hong Kong, and other global offices.
  • Process vendor payments in multiple foreign currencies.
  • Handle customer receipts and sales invoice allocations, as well as credit and debit notes for vendors and customers.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial entries and follow up on accounts receivable, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular bank and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage vendor, receivables ageing, and advance follow-ups.
  • Oversee fixed asset capitalization and depreciation processes.
  • Prepare monthly MIS and Audit packs.
  • Perform financial analysis and forecasting to support business insights.

Key skills required

  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar field
  • Education: B.Com or equivalent in Finance & Accounts; graduate or post-graduate level.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP FICO & MM, MS Excel.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong background in accounting and familiarity with intercompany transactions.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an aptitude for numbers.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to track and organize transaction support.
  • Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High execution focus, result-oriented approach, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
