As we continue to grow and expand our product line, we are seeking a talented Senior Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team who has diverse experience and expertise in Men's Ethnic Wear.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Fashion Designer at TheEthnic.Co, you will play a key role in shaping the creative direction of our men's ethnic wear collections. You will be an individual contributor, conceptualizing and creating innovative designs, and ensuring that our products reflect the brand's vision while meeting market demands. This position requires a deep understanding of men's ethnic fashion trends, exceptional design skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creativity:

• Creating cohesive and innovative men's ethnic wear collections.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to make informed design decisions.

2. Conceptualization and Ideation:

• Develop and translate design concepts into sketches, patterns, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with artisans and sampling team to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficient in using design software and tools for sketching, pattern making, and prototyping.
• Oversee the creation of detailed technical specifications for production.
• Oversee the work of artisans doing hand embroidery, machine embroidery, and computer embroidery.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment between design and business objectives.
• Collaborate with fabric sourcing teams to select appropriate materials for each collection.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough quality checks on prototypes and samples to ensure they meet design specifications.
• Guide production processes to maintain quality standards.

6. Market Research:

• Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.
• Use market insights to make informed design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Good hands-on experience working on Google Sheets or MS Excel.
• Proven experience (of at least 10 years) as a Fashion Designer, with a core focus on men's ethnic wear for at least 5 years.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and projects.
• Excellent knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in design software and other relevant tools.
• Good to have hands-on knowledge of Clo3d, but not mandatory.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a design team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
