Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Faculty Culinary Arts at IIHM in GOA. The role involves conducting culinary classes, developing course materials, evaluating student performance, and mentoring aspiring chefs. The Food Production Faculty will also participate in curriculum design and industry collaborations to enhance student learning.

Qualifications

• Culinary Arts, Food Production, and Menu Planning skills
• Experience in culinary education and training
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor and guide students effectively
• Relevant certifications in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
• Understanding of industry trends and international culinary practices

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 - 10 years working experience in Food Production department of a 5 star hotel or cruise line(Partial Academic experience will also be considered)

Job Description:

Should have excellent knowledge of basic & advanced culinary skills - Indian and Continental both and overall knowledge of Bakery would be added on advantage

Should be able to plan, schedule, organise, coordinate and monitor lectures & practicals

Should be able to prepare course material as per latest development in the hospitality industry

Should engage in research and be able to inspire & motivate students.
