Key Responsibilities
- Own the full design process, create user experience goals, priorities and results that align with business objectives, coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of best practices ensuring timely and detailed design work.
- Contribute to the Design processes, ways of working and tools which help design team members in efficiently designing and delivering valuable solutions and experiences to Best Buy's end-users.
- Work with other UX designers, content designers, UX Researchers, Accessibility, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create solutions and align customer and business needs.
- Partner with research, analytics, consumer insights and A/B testing teams on methodology and approach for the testing of XD strategies.
- Leverage research, site metrics, and usability findings to make recommendations and drive strategy.
- Participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human-Centered Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Information Architecture, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience as a UX designer for at least 4 years or 6+ years in a design relate role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work for web and/or mobile applications.
- Advanced knowledge of UX Design principles and deliverables (designs, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise with modern design, prototyping and collaboration tools (such as Figma and Miro)
- Demonstrated experience with human-centered design, inclusive design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, usability standards and best practices.
- Awareness of data and research methodologies and ability to conduct or partner with research experts.
- Ability to work through design solutions and understand the technology behind those solutions.
- Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present designs, drive consensus and negotiate trade-offs.
- History of balancing the agile work environment and iterative product development while maintaining a cohesive view of the overall customer journey.
- Ability to mentor and support other designers and drive growth in the team.
